Stretched Lobes Survival: Winter Edition

It's no brainer that if you are going to make the decision to stretch your ears that it requires a lot of loving and care. Let's face it, dry lobes are not a pretty sight and are bound to get you some unwanted attention along with that overdone commentary from those around you (you all know how it is, the good old "why did you to that to yourself?" "That looks like it hurts." and so on). Here's 3 easy, little steps to stretched lobes survival: winter edition.

1. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize! I cannot stress that enough. The harsh cold creates great havoc on your skin, It is extremely important that you are properly moisturizing with a lotion or my personal favorite, Bio oil. Bio oil is your best friend when it comes to stretching your precious lobes - utilize it.

2. Beanies, earmuffs, headbands - oh my! When going out doors to face the harsh winds and cold weather keep in mind that your lobes are not a close to your body as they once were. This means that it is getting less body heat which is important

3. Breathe, Just Breathe. If you aren't already doing to, take some time to remove your jewelry for a few hours. Massage them, moisturize them, give them some loving, let the blood circulate freely, and let them breath. This is a great routine to adapt to promote healthier lobes all year round.
